Location and Date
The championship will take place on October 12, 2025, at a location perfectly suited for a magical spectacle.
Jury
Our jury consists of renowned magicians and experts from the magic community, who will evaluate each performance objectively and professionally.
Participation Requirements
Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of whether you are a member of a club or not. The competition is also open to international participants. Make sure to register on time and meet all the requirements.
Prizes
Prizes of the Belgian Magic Championship
To better contribute to the artistic and/or professional development of magicians and their impact on both national and international levels, the Belgian Magic Federation (BMF) has decided to reward the winners of the Belgian Magic Championship with two options this year.
Option 1: Full Coaching Program for the European or World Championships
Winners will benefit from a residential “mise au vert” in the Ardennes for 2 to 3 days, aimed at optimizing their preparation for international competitions. This program includes:
- Guidance from Experts: Three professional magicians and mentalists from the Belgian Magic Federation (BMF): Kurt Demey, Olivier Rijckaert (Louis Loriot), and Patrick Kurota.
- Contributions from External Professionals: Experts (award-winning magicians, directors, FISM coaches, etc.) selected in consultation with the winner, based on their specific needs (magic technique, staging, choreography, rhythm, dramaturgy, etc.).
- Administrative and Strategic Support: Advice on FISM regulations, assembling a bid, stage and media coaching.
- Format: Personalized workshops, individual coaching, and intensive rehearsals.
- Capacity: Between 3 and 6 participants, open to all winners in order of their ranking within the limits of available places.
- Organization: Location, dates, and logistical details will be communicated to the selected participants and coordinated with their availability and that of the coaches/experts.
Option 2: Classic Prize
Winners who prefer a traditional prize and do not wish to participate in the coaching program can opt for a cash prize, the amount of which will be determined based on category and ranking.
Terms & Conditions
Each winner is free to choose the option that best suits them but must make this decision upon registration. The Board of Directors of the BMF retains full discretion over the awarding of prizes.
